Who Made a Mistake, God or the Spirit Soul?
. Translated by: Narjis Narjis
God is infallible and the spirit soul makes no mistakes. And if
dubiousness or mistake happens, it is ascribed to the deficient
human nature.
In the most significant Christian doctrines, i.e., that of
crucifixion and redemption, existing in the Gospel, we can
observe that the narrator of this story has been sharply
contradictory. In the Matthew’s gospel, the narrator says that
there is a person who put a sign for the Roman soldiers by
saying: “seize the person who I am going to kiss and do not let
him go”.
But in the John’s gospel, this text completely disappears and
is replaced by another which says that Jesus Messiah is the one
who guided the Roman soldiers to himself as saying: “who are
you looking for?” “We are looking for Jesus of Nazareth” the
soldiers answered. “Here I am!” Jesus said. Then they arrested
him.
Hereby I present the two texts to show the truth.
The Book of Matthew, 26: 46-56:
“Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray
me. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came,
and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the
chief priests and elders of the people. And while he yet spake,
lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great
multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and
elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a
sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold
him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail,
master; and kissed him. And Jesus said unto him, Friend,
wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on
Jesus and took him…….Then all the disciples forsook him, and
fled.”
While the Book of John,18:3-12 says:
“Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from
the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns
and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things
that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom
seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto
them, I am he…..Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he:
if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way……Then the band
and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound
him”
The other gospels have kept silent and did not mention any
thing about this subject.
Once, I asked a priest who was working with me during my priest
craft career before resigning:
- “How do you explain the difference and the fact that the two
gospels have overlooked mentioning this story?”
- “Listen dear, what is important that Jesus was arrested by
them, which is to say that the two gospels have agreed to this
story!” the Priest said.
- “What is the reason behind this difference?” I asked.
- “I don’t know” He replied.
- “How don’t you know this and the story of arresting Jesus is
one of the most well-known stories in the Gospel and it is the
axis of Christian belief? Did Jesus submit himself or was he
arrested due to the betrayal of one of his close friends?
- “As Jesus is the Lord, he’s the only one who knows what
happened to himself” the priest said that and left me to do his
prayers in the altar
At that moment I remembered Jesus saying: “Now the Spirit
speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart
from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines
of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience
seared with a hot iron” (1st Timothy, 4:1-2)
